11 Things We Love about Christmastime in Charlotte

  1. Watching a Hornets Game with a fresh Jam Session in-hand.
  2. Our hand-crafted tap room Christmas tree made from vintage beer bottles (created by one of our employees, Dwight, who is an amazing craftsman)!
  3. Singing along to the Bearstein Bears in Founders Hall as they carol, because who doesn’t love animatronic symphony orchestra?!
  4. Tailgating in the cold with the Roaring Riot (and Roaring Riot Rye Pale Ale, of course) on game days.
  5. Seeing all the incredibly festive Hoppy Holidays #ShowYourCans photos on social media.
  6. How drinking a Hop Drop ‘N Roll always makes wrapping presents easier.
    1. And Hop Drop ‘N Roll hats actually make shopping easier too.
  7. Snuggling up to watch Christmas movies with Monstro (…and a loved one). Pro tip: Don’t hold your pint glass for too long or you’ll inevitably fall asleep, spilling that precious elixir on yourself.
  8. Having the chance to give back to our neighbors in-need. (We’ve been focusing on giving local children access to free books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library via Smart Start of Mecklenburg County).
  9. Being the hero at any holiday party, now that we can take 32 oz. crowlers of just about any brew on tap
  10. Watching our friends, and very talented ladies, in Chickspeare perform in the oh-so-festive holiday show at our original tap room.
  11. The spirit of the season that can be felt on just about any street, in restaurants or tap rooms, and especially, in our homes.
