NoDa Brewing Coming to Charlotte Douglas Airport
Throughout the course of our (nearly) seven years in business, we’ve had a lot of amazing news and fun changes, but what we’re sharing today has to be one of the most exciting moments yet…
We’re beyond thrilled to announce that a stand-alone NoDa Brewing Company tap room is coming to Charlotte Douglas International Airport! In mid-2018, the passengers (more than 44 million per year) at the 6th largest airport in the United States, will be able to enjoy even more of our locally-made craft beers. While our beers have been available at other retailers* in CLT since February of 2013, we can’t wait to show visitors even more about our city and state’s craft beer scene.
In conjunction with HMSHost, a global restaurateur, our airport location will be a full-service restaurant and bar in Concourse A Expansion (a new development project within the airport). With seats for nearly four dozen people and 12 taps, travelers from around the globe will be able to sip on a wide variety of our offerings all-day; the location will even include early hours with breakfast service, and single cans and four packs to-go. Thanks to Chef Michael Suppa, expect to see elevated casual food, including some dishes that incorporate our beers. As part of an aesthetic that matches our main tap room, three local artists will have their artwork on display at our airport location. Carla Garrison-Mattos will be painting the process of beer making on one side, and a replication of Matt Moore and Matt Hooker’s pint glass mural (that’s currently in the foyer of our tap room) will be on the other side.
